Mr. Grimshaw is an associate in the Trial Section, and his practice focuses on representing creditors in workouts, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters. He represents lenders, landlords, and trade creditors. Mr. Grimshaw also defends fraudulent conveyance and preference actions.
REPRESENTATIVE CASES
Represented a defendant in a preference action where the plaintiff sought to recover over $1 million.
Represented a former officer and director of a company that filed bankruptcy in an action for breach of fiduciary duty and receiving fraudulent conveyances and unlawful distributions.
Represented an institutional lender in a check-kiting case.
Represented certain petitioning creditors in an involuntary bankruptcy case.
