COSTA MESA, California, April 22, 2011 – Rutan & Tucker, LLP, California’s largest full-service law firm based in Orange County, has recently been honored by Goodwill of Orange County as one of the first businesses to participate in Goodwill’s shredding and recycling program.
The commendation was given to Rutan at Goodwill’s Community Appreciation Breakfast with the firm’s Supervisor of Office Services Kurt Golding accepting. Since 2008, Rutan has recycled more than 72,000 lbs. of paper and given nearly 84,000 lbs of materials for environmentally friendly destruction.
“We are pleased to receive this honor and appreciate Kurt‘s efforts to make this program successful and to expand the types of materials we currently recycle. Goodwill is a long-time and very valued client of the firm,” said Ski Harrison, the firm’s managing partner. Rutan Partner Tom Salinger is the secretary of the Board of Directors of Goodwill Orange County. He chairs the organization’s corporate compliance committee and serves on the executive committee.
