- Land Development: Worked extensively in all areas of commercial and residential land acquisition and development, including negotiation and drafting of purchase agreements, option agreements, covenants, conditions and restrictions, and processing of subdivision maps, development agreements, and related development approvals; Projects have involved a full range of the development spectrum, including urban infill, multi-family, single family, condominiums, master planned communities, golf courses, industrial, retail, medical-office and mixed use developments.
- Commercial Property Sales & Acquisitions: Extensively involved in the negotiation, drafting and closing of purchase agreements representing both sellers and buyers of retail shopping centers, office buildings, industrial buildings and multi-family properties, together with related due diligence analysis and title review.
- Financing: Negotiated and documented numerous real estate financings on behalf of borrowers, including construction loans, land loans, secured debt on income producing properties, and mezzanine financing for all types of projects.
- Joint Ventures: Handled negotiation and drafting of equity participation for individuals and institutions, including the preparation of partnership agreements and operating agreements.
- Commercial Leasing: Extensive experience in representing both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions, including retail, office and industrial leases, ground leases and sale/leaseback matters. Representation has involved negotiations with numerous national retail tenants.
