COSTA MESA, Calif. – Setting aside briefcases in favor of hammers and nails, 17 attorneys and staff members of Rutan & Tucker LLP, California’s largest law firm headquartered in Orange County, recently volunteered to help build affordable housing along Walker Street in the community of Cypress.
As a participant in Habitat for Humanity of Orange County’s Lawyers for Humanity group, the firm joined others in pledging to donate approximately $25,000 and nearly 1,000 hours of work on the project, which will be completed next spring.
Rutan & Tucker attorneys and staff volunteering their time were Joel Kuperberg, William Marticorena, Robert Meserve, Phil Kohn, Lyndsy Rutherford, Terence Gallagher, Michael Houston, Jeffrey Oderman, James O'Neal, Richard Montevideo, Sean Farrell, Anthony King, Ernie Klatte, Jennifer Hermann, Chris Cruz, Penelope Parmes, Brad Chapin, and Bruce Allen.
“We are proud to do our part to help deserving Orange County residents enjoy the dream of homeownership,” said Tom Crane, the firm’s managing partner.
