COSTA MESA, Calif., July 16, 2007 – William M. Marticorena, a partner in the Public Law Section of Rutan & Tucker LLP, California’s largest full-service law firm based in Orange County, is the president elect for the California and Nevada chapter (SCAN) of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA). Bill Marticorena specializes in telecommunications, cable television regulation, public finance and economic development. He has delivered numerous speeches, lectures and seminars on cable television, telecommunications, public finance and economic development over the last 25 years. A frequent speaker at NATOA regional and national conferences, he also has regularly addressed the League of California Cities on cable television and telecommunications regulation. He joined the firm in 1977 and is a graduate of Harvard Law School. The SCAN Chapter sponsors an annual conference and also conducts local seminars each year on cable and telecommunications issues. It offers networking opportunities with other telecommunications officers and industry representatives and provides up-to-date information on FCC rules and guidelines.
