Mr. Marr is an associate in Rutan & Tucker’s Corporate Section, where he represents both public and private clients in a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance, and technology and software licensing.
Mr. Marr’s practice primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions and involves representing buyers and sellers in a broad range of business sales and acquisition transactions, including mergers, stock purchases, asset purchases and joint ventures. He also assists clients with private placements of securities, debt financing and general corporate legal matters, including negotiation and drafting of contracts, formation of new business entities and corporate governance.
Mr. Marr earned a Juris Doctor degree from UCLA with a specialization in corporate law. He earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to attending law school, he worked for approximately 10 years as an information technology consultant with both Ernst & Young and Andersen Consulting.
