Crystal Huynh’s practice focuses on a variety of corporate matters, with an emphasis on tax planning and tax structuring. In her tax practice, she often advises clients on the tax structuring of mergers and acquisitions, gift and estate tax strategies, and state and local tax issues. She has represented clients in tax controversies with both state and federal taxing authorities. Outside of her tax practice, she has experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, representing lenders and borrowers in debt financing transactions and general corporate transactions.
Crystal graduated from the USC Gould School of Law in 2018, receiving a J.D. and a Master of Business Taxation. Prior to joining Rutan & Tucker, Crystal worked for EY’s People Advisory Services Practice, where her practice focused on matters of executive compensation, and employee benefits.
