Hannah Goodwin’s practice is concentrated in commercial and construction litigation. As a litigator, Hannah has represented clients in all manner of disputes, including construction claims, business torts, natural resources matters, contract disputes, and administrative appeals and hearings.
Hannah’s prior work experience includes commercial litigation and natural resources practice in Nevada, and externships at the Environmental Protection Agency and Southern Environmental Law Center.
While in law school, Hannah was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Torts and Environmental Law. Hannah was also inducted in The Order of Barristers and The Order of the Coif, and competed in the National Moot Court Competition and Wagner National Labor & Employment Competition. Hannah has also been recognized for her commitment to pro bono service, including recognition by the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and award of the Emory University Pro Bono Certificate.
- Successfully represented an electrical subcontractor in a state court suit involving complex construction claims, including claims relating to delay, payment, performance, and schedule analysis. After reaching trial, the case settled on favorable terms.
- Representation of commercial and residential developers with regard to a variety of construction disputes, mechanic’s lien claims, bond and indemnification claims, and contractual disputes of all forms.
- Representation of entities in drafting and reviewing construction contracts for large-scale projects.
- Representation of developers regarding local ordinances and administrative proceedings.
