Overview
Ken Whiting is a Partner in Rutan’s San Francisco office. He has substantial experience in a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, representing owners, developers, landlords, tenants and borrowers in the acquisition, development, construction, financing, leasing and disposition of all types of commercial and industrial properties.
Ken’s expertise includes the development and financing of sports and entertainment venues, project finance, and matters involving complex easements (such as pipelines). In addition to practicing in law firms, Ken previously served as the principal in-house real estate attorney at Southern Pacific Railroad and Kenetech Windpower, Inc.

Ken served on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of California from 2009 – 2012, and continued as an Advisor from 2012 – 2015.
