
Overview
Ms. Craig has over 20 years of experience in civil and business litigation. Graduating with honors from the University of California, Irvine University Extension Certificate Program in Legal Assistantship, Victoria began her career at Rutan & Tucker in 1989. A member of the Orange County Paralegal Association, she has served on the board of directors and as co-chair of the Litigation Section. In 1995, Victoria began work at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, where she became interested in the role of technology in the practice of law and gained an extensive knowledge of a variety of litigation support software programs. Victoria has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from California State University, Long Beach. Combining her teaching background and paralegal knowledge, Victoria taught the course “Fundamentals of Legal Assistantship” at UCI in 1993, and has been a presenter at numerous seminars, classes, and training events.
In January 2004, Victoria became a Certified Concordance Trainer and started her own business as an independent contract paralegal. Victoria specialized in providing small law firms and sole practitioners with computerized litigation and trial support. She also provided Concordance training to attorneys and paralegals regarding the use of technology to efficiently and effectively obtain the most information from files in preparing cases for trial. Returning to Rutan & Tucker in 2009, Victoria brings a broad range of technical skills and knowledge to assist attorneys with managing the vast amounts of electronic information that are part of today’s litigation.
