Overview
Cameron Patel is an associate in Rutan & Tucker’s Litigation and Trial department in Irvine. His practice involves a variety of business and civil litigation matters, including business and intentional torts, business contract cases, construction defect and delay claims, insurance litigation, and bankruptcy.
Cameron received his J.D. from Columbia Law School where he graduated with Stone honors. As a law student, he served as the Treasurer of the Student Senate and as the Graduation Chair for his class. He was also the Treasurer for the South Asian Law Students Association. He was a member of the Environmental moot court team and a legal extern for Super Law Group. He served as a research assistant to Columbia Law professor Michael Gerrard.
Prior to law school, he received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in engineering from UC Irvine. Cameron worked as a civil engineer for five years at AECOM and he continues to maintain his California Professional Engineer registration.
