
Overview
Emily Propersi is an associate in Rutan & Tucker’s Labor and Employment department. Emily’s practice includes representing clients on matters related to wage and hour class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative claims, discrimination and harassment claims, and wrongful termination and retaliation claims. She also works with clients to understand their obligations under prevailing wage laws.
Emily received her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, School of Law. During law school, Emily served as a student attorney in the WashU Immigration Law Clinic where she assisted her client in obtaining a favorable result. Emily interned for the American Bar Association where she researched national policy trends. As a law student, she also served as the Treasurer for Women’s Law Caucus.
Prior to attending law school, Emily worked as a middle and high school French teacher. Emily completed her undergraduate education at the University of Missouri – Columbia, where she received a dual degree in education and French.
