Overview
Jeremy Alfonso Rojo is a banking and finance attorney in Rutan & Tucker’s Irvine office. Jeremy’s practice focuses on the representation of corporate borrowers and institutional lenders in all aspects of secured and unsecured debt facilities.
Jeremy represents and advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit funds in connection with a broad range of corporate finance transactions. His experience includes navigating the complexities of acquisition financings, asset-based and cash-flow credit facilities, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions, and warehouse facilities.
Prior to joining the firm in 2026, Jeremy was an associate at O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles. During his tenure there, he also served on secondment as in-house counsel for a multi-billion-dollar international beverage company. In this role, he provided direct day-to-day legal support on a variety of corporate and operational matters, partnering effectively with business teams to drive execution and mitigate legal risk.
Jeremy received his undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo and his law degree from Notre Dame Law School.
Jeremy is actively involved in the Southern California community and is committed to leveraging his legal expertise for the public good. He currently serves on the Associates Board for KIPP SoCal Public Schools, supporting the organization’s mission to create a more equitable education system for all students. In his pro bono practice, Jeremy focuses on providing foundational legal support to nonprofit organizations, including assisting with entity formation and obtaining 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
