Jessica Sanders is an associate in Rutan & Tucker’s Government and Regulatory Law Department. Jessica has been with Rutan & Tucker since graduating from Washington University School of Law and passing the California Bar in 2020. Her legal career has been dedicated to municipal law, with a concentration in land use, the California Public Records Act, planning and zoning law, cybersecurity, transactional matters, telecommunications, and general municipal affairs.
Jessica has served as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Fontana, and works closely with many of Rutan & Tucker’s public agency clients on government matters, including the Public Records Act, contractual issues, and State updates to housing and related land use laws. She receives consistent positive reviews from Rutan & Tucker’s clients for her responsiveness, efficiency, and quality of legal work. Jessica is also active in the League of California Cities, and researches and coordinates in preparing bi-annual updates on CEQA and Land Use Litigation for League conferences.
