Julian Milward is a banking and finance attorney with extensive experience representing institutional lenders, finance companies, debt and equity funds, and public and private companies in a variety of both debt and equity transactions. Julian’s transactional experience includes commercial, cash-flow and corporate financing transactions, asset-based and structured financing transactions, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions, real estate financing transactions, receivables financing transactions and warehouse facilities.
Julian received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Southern California and his law degree from Cornell Law School. Julian began his legal career at Rutan & Tucker and prior to rejoining the firm, he worked as a finance attorney at Latham & Watkins and also served as vice president and counsel at MUFG Union Bank, N.A., where he was direct counsel to a number of the bank’s commercial lending business units and assisted them in all aspects of the commercial financing lifecycle.
