Overview
Lindy specializes in all aspects of domestic and international intellectual property portfolio management, including litigation, prosecution, transactions and related business matters. She also manages intellectual property-related business transactions, including negotiation of licenses, IP asset purchase agreements, confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements, manufacturing agreements, and distribution agreements. In addition, Lindy conducts IP audits and due diligence in support of corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.
Lindy handles all aspects of domestic and global trademark prosecution and counsels clients on trademark availability, selection, and enforcement as well as certification mark development and protection. She also advises clients on copyright, advertising, and right of publicity related matters.
Lindy has successfully resolved numerous US and international intellectual property disputes, including inter partes proceedings before the TTAB, international arbitration proceedings, and domain-name disputes under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy, the Uniform Rapid Suspension System, and regularly works with domain name registrars and website hosts to enforce clients’ IP rights. She also has represented clients in patent infringement, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, trade secret, unfair competition, and business related lawsuits in both federal and state courts.
Lindy also holds certificates in Intellectual Property Law and International & Comparative Law.
