Overview
Marc McClain’s practice focuses on patent preparation, application and prosecution, intellectual property, and post-grant proceedings including inter partes review and post grant review. Marc has handled matters in various technological fields including augmented reality, video streaming, online learning, computer memory structures, and 3D model processing.
Additionally, Marc has assisted in patent litigation cases in a variety of matters including helping clients deter potential patent infringers in other countries, and defending against non-practicing entities.
During law school, Marc worked for a non-profit to help underprivileged high schoolers learn about the law and encourage them to go to college and pursue a career as lawyers. Prior to law school, Marc worked as a video and audio recording engineer and taught courses in product development in collaboration with Fortune 500 companies.
Marc was elected as the Chair-Elect of the Orange County Bar Association Intellectual Property & Technology Law Section for 2018 and enjoys reaching out into the community to educate others on various IP topics.
