Overview

Rachel is an associate in Rutan & Tucker’s Labor and Employment Group.  She represents employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters, including wage-and-hour disputes, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.  Rachel assists clients through all stages of litigation, from case assessment and discovery through dispositive motions, trial preparation, and resolution.

 

Prior to joining Rutan, Rachel was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Douglas F. McCormick of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

 

Rachel earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine School of Law.  During law school, she participated in the Appellate Litigation Clinic, where she briefed and argued an immigration appeal before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  She also received the Pro Bono High Honors Award in recognition of more than 200 hours of pro bono service.
