Tony Malkani

Tony is the executive director of Rutan & Tucker, LLP, Orange County’s largest full-service law firm, where he directs the firm’s day-to-day business strategy and operations and oversees a staff of more than 130. He is an ex-officio member of the firm’s executive committee and oversees all functional areas of the firm including finance, human resources, information systems, recruiting, business development and marketing, litigation support, word support and docketing, facilities and office services and library services.

Prior to joining Rutan & Tucker, Tony spent 14 years at another prominent midsize Orange County law firm, where he served as the firm’s chief financial officer. Prior experience includes a firm wide management role with a large global law firm and a regional management position with another large international law firm.

Tony has an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Bombay and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University.

He is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and the Western Legal Leadership Council, a senior executive law firm leadership organization.  He serves on Ricoh USA Inc.’s Legal Industry Customer Advisory Board.
