COSTA MESA, California, February 2011 – Caroline R. Djang has joined Rutan & Tucker, LLP, California’s largest full-service law firm headquartered in Orange County, as an associate attorney.
Djang joins the firm’s Bankruptcy/Financial Practices Group and Business Litigation Department. Her practice includes the representation of debtors, secured lenders, chapter 11 trustees, unsecured creditors’ committees, landlords and other creditors in bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings.
Having spent the last few years practicing with another firm in Los Angeles, she decided to return to her Orange County roots. Her previous experience also includes serving as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for seven years, where she clerked for U.S. Bankruptcy Judges Ellen Carroll, Vincent P. Zurzolo, Sheri Bluebond and Richard M. Neiter.
Djang received her law degree from Loyola Law School In 2001. She was the senior production editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International & Comparative Law Review.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996, where she was the president of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority and a member of the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society and the Order of Omega Greek Honor Society.
