COSTA MESA, Calif., December 22, 2012 – Volunteers from Rutan & Tucker, LLP, California’s largest full-service law firm based in Orange County, recently participated in the 42nd year of Share Our Selves’ Annual Adopt A Family program, a holiday tradition that embraces many struggling Orange County families by providing gifts and food for the holidays.
This year, the program undertaken by the Costa Mesa-based nonprofit connected donors and volunteers with more than 1,100 families with children that were recommended by Costa Mesa and Santa Ana schools.
Partner Kathy Jenson again organized the firm’s involvement in the project, which included having Rutan & Tucker attorneys, staff and family members gather at the OC Fair & Event Center to help sort, load and deliver the items to schools where they were then given to the families.
The list of Rutan & Tucker volunteers included Bill Ihrke, Dave Larsen, Layne Melzer and his son Shane, along with Hans Van Ligten and his daughter Meagan and son Andy, plus Joel Kuperberg, Ajit Thind, Jeff Goldfarb, Alisha Patterson, Kristine Wang, Cynthia Kaiser, Michelle Molko and Dave Collins.
