COSTA MESA, Calif., January 3, 2011 – Rutan & Tucker LLP, California’s largest full-service law firm based in Orange County, has announced that attorney Alejandro Angulo has been elevated to partner. He joined the firm as an associate in 2001.
As a member of the firm’s Trial Section, his practice consists of general business and civil litigation, as well as consulting with clients on pre-litigation and transactional matters. He is also a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group, handling intellectual property litigation and related matters. He has represented a broad range of clients, including high net worth individuals and publicly held companies, in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings and private arbitrations.
He earned his law degree with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2001. During law school, Angulo served as a writer and editor for the Pacific Law Journal. He was also a member of the International Moot Court Team and competed in Vienna, Austria, in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. He received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach.
