COSTA MESA, Calif., March 10, 2014 – Alan Fenstermacher, Allina Hightower and Pat Donegan, associates with Rutan & Tucker, LLP, California’s largest full-service law firm based in Orange County, recently achieved a victory in a pro bono case referred to the firm by the Public Law Center.
Our client sought full legal and physical custody of her child, and at trial, the Rutan & Tucker team secured a complete victory. The case presented some interesting challenges, including various unique issues that could have impeded a positive result. Despite the fact that family law is outside of Rutan & Tucker’s typical practice area, the Rutan & Tucker team was able to provide effective and zealous representation that resulted in the realization of all of our client’s goals.
“We are pleased that our client, with the assistance of Alan, Allina and Pat, achieved such an outstanding outcome in this complicated case. Pro bono matters not only provide an opportunity to give back to the community, but these cases also allow our associates to hone their skills and become familiar with issues outside their normal areas of practice,” said Phil Kohn, the firm’s Pro Bono Coordinator.
