COSTA MESA, Calif., October 20, 2010 – John Hurlbut, a senior attorney at Rutan & Tucker, LLP, California’s largest full-service law firm based in Orange County, recently appeared on KOCE-TV public television’s Real Orange news program.
As the recipient of the Orange County/Long Beach Region of the Anti-Defamation League’s Marcus Kaufman Jurisprudence Award for 2010, Hurlbut was interviewed about the award and the work the Anti-Defamation League has done in Orange County as a prominent civil rights and human relations organization that fights anti-Semitism and bigotry of all kinds. He was joined by Kevin O’Grady, Ed.D., the organization’s regional director.
Hurlbut became a partner at Rutan & Tucker in 1970, and has been practicing business litigation at the firm since graduating from Stanford Law School in 1964. He is a former managing partner of the firm. He was the Orange County Bar Association’s Harmon G. Scoville Award recipient in 2003 and the Orange County Public Law Center’s 2007 Attorney of the Year.
