New Campaign Contribution Limits:
The limits on campaign contributions from individuals, businesses, unions and PACs to state-level candidates and political parties have increased for the next two years based on inflation:

Most cities and counties enforce their own limit on contributions to candidates running in their jurisdiction, and these limits will also increase as of January 1, 2025. Please contact us if you would like the updated contribution limit in any local jurisdiction.
New Gift Limit:
The limit on “gifts” – e.g., lunches and dinners, tickets to sporting or entertainment events, etc. – provided to state or local public officials has also increased for the years 2025 and 2026:

A handful of cities and counties have their own, lower gift limits, many of which will also increase for inflation next year.
Upcoming Federal Contribution Limits:
The Federal Election Commission will announce increased contribution limits for Congressional, Senate and Presidential candidates for 2025-2026 in February 2025. The current limit on contributions is $3,300 per election.
