Overview
Matthew is an advisor to elected officials, political committees, candidates, corporations, unions, trade associations and non-profits regarding campaign finance, lobbying, government ethics, and election law matters.
He also serves as legal counsel and treasurer to political committees in a variety of jurisdictions, providing advice on campaign compliance and reporting matters.
Matthew is well-versed in the ballot measure process at the state and local levels in California, counseling clients through all stages from initial drafting to ballot qualification, to post-election litigation. He also guides clients through enforcement proceedings before state and local ethics commissions.
Matthew serves on the board of directors for the California Political Attorneys Association. He is also a board member for KEEN Los Angeles, a nonprofit which helps kids with developmental disabilities. Matthew graduated from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, after earning his bachelor degree in finance from Boston College and attending Loyola High School of Los Angeles.
