Rutan Announces New Partners in Orange County

Irvine, CA – Rutan & Tucker LLP is pleased to announce it has elected two associates and one senior counsel in Orange County to its partnership. The election of Mary Christine Brady, Talya Goldfinger and Corey Scott is effective January 1, 2026.

Mary Christine Brady

Ms. Brady is a graduate of Emory Law School and was promoted from Associate in the firm’s Litigation and Trial section. She handles class action defense, consumer protection matters, business and intentional torts, business contract cases. Some of her cases involve cybersecurity and data privacy issues, construction defect and delay claims, and probate matters.

Talya Goldfinger

Ms. Goldfinger is a Stanford Law School graduate and was promoted from Senior Counsel in the firm’s Litigation and Trial section. With a practice focused on intellectual property and entertainment matters, Goldfinger’s clients have included some of the world’s largest record companies and music publishing companies, movie and television studios and multinational technology corporations.  Equally representing plaintiffs and defendants, she has experience representing clients in copyright, trademark, patents, false advertising, unfair competition, consumer class actions and general business disputes.

Corey Scott

Mr. Scott graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and was promoted from Associate in the firm’s Corporate practice.  He represents corporate and lending clients in all aspects of secured and unsecured debt facilities including banks, private credit funds, other institutional lenders, and corporations in corporate finance transactions, including venture debt, asset-based and cash-flow credit facilities, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions and warehouse facilities.
