Overview
Nick defends employers in employment disputes ranging from wage-and-hour class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions, to discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases. Nick has extensive experience helping employers navigate all stages of employment litigation.
With his litigation background, Nick is well-positioned to advise clients before disputes arise. He assists employers with their general employment counseling needs, including internal investigations, review of payroll practices, and drafting key employment documents such as handbooks and arbitration agreements.
Prior to joining Rutan, Nick was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He graduated order of the coif from USC Gould School of Law. While at USC, Nick was awarded a Stanley and Ilene Gold Honors Scholarship and served as a senior editor for the Southern California Law Review.
