Irvine, CA – March 17, 2022 – Rutan & Tucker is pleased to announce that Employment Partner Edson K. McClellan has been elected to the firm’s Executive Committee, effective March 1, 2022. He is replacing Bill Ihrke who served on the committee since 2019. McClellan joins committee members Mark Frazier and Kim Thompson.
“It’s an honor to serve in this leadership role and help make strategic decisions that will benefit the attorneys and our staff,” says McClellan, who currently has several board leadership positions outside of the firm including Charitable Ventures, Friendship Shelter, Inc., and the University of San Diego School of Law Alumni Association.
McClellan has more than 20 years of experience representing companies in high-stakes civil litigation and employment matters. He has significant experience in cases involving theft of company trade secrets, employee raiding, noncompetition agreements, breach of fiduciary duty, and contract disputes. He also counsels employers on a variety of topics including terminations, wage-and-hour issues, employment agreements, leaves of absence, and accommodating disabilities.
