Overview
Robert Dillaway represents national and regional banks, real estate debt funds and other lending institutions in connection with real estate secured financing transactions (including market rate syndicated and bilateral construction and/or permanent facilities and affordable housing financings involving low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bonds). Robert has extensive experience working on projects involving the financing of low-income multi-family and senior affordable housing transactions, community development projects, mixed-income projects, mixed-use projects and transit-oriented developments. Robert’s experience spans all aspects of acquisition, disposition, and financing of market rate, mixed-income, and low-income restricted residential rental properties, including structuring, negotiating, and documenting representing lenders in all aspects of real estate-secured debt financings, mezzanine loan financings, and other structured debt transactions. Robert’s practice also includes representing buyers and sellers in connection with the acquisition and disposition of real property, including development projects and projects involving single- and multi-family housing, retail and mixed use developments, as well as representing landlords and tenants in connection with the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases.
